The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Metcalfe County Hornets (Edmonton, KY) and the host Bath County Wildcats (Owingsville, KY), observed Metcalfe County's basketball team overcome Bath County by a margin of 71-61.

The Hornets (5-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Expression Prep Academy (Huntington, WV). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 5-6 record. In their last challenge, Expression Prep Academy defeated East Carter (Grayson, KY), 73-62, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the East Carter Raiders (Grayson, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Sunday, December 29. Bath County will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record.
