In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Bethel Wildcats basketball team scored a good 70-62 win over the Shelton Gaels.
The Wildcats (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against New Canaan (New Canaan, CT). The Rams come into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
In their next game, the Gaels battle the New Milford Green Wave (New Milford, CT) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 30. Shelton will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record.
