Next, the Flyers encounter the St. Augustine Knights (Laredo, TX) in a TAPPS 5A District 3 test, on Wednesday, January 8. St. Joseph will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record.

The Cougars (9-9) will now prepare for their test against Hallettsville (Hallettsville, TX). The Brahmas come into the non-league test with a 4-12 record. In their last test, Hallettsville beat Schulenburg (Schulenburg, TX), 45-38, in a non-league test.
