The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Bullitt East Chargers (Mt. Washington, KY) and the host Stratford Knights (Goose Creek, SC), observed Bullitt East's basketball team knock off Stratford by a score of 61-48.

The Chargers (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Cabell Midland (Ona, WV). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Cabell Midland prevailed over Pisgah (Canton, NC), 71-60, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Knights encounter the Colleton County Cougars (Walterboro, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 3. Stratford will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 45-38 non-league win over Ridgeland (Ridgeland, SC).
