In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Cleveland Indians basketball team scored a good 62-53 triumph over the Buna Cougars.
The Indians (4-15) will now prepare for their contest against Little Cypress-Mauriceville (Orange, TX). The Bears go into the non-league contest with a 9-11 record. In their last contest, Little Cypress-Mauriceville topped Woodville (Woodville, TX), 67-36, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cougars battle the Splendora Wildcats (Splendora, TX) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 28. Buna will attempt to better on its 6-16 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 10-9 record after their 57-40 non-league win over Bridge City (Bridge City, TX).
