South Carolina High School Basketball - Lancaster defeats Cannon

December 28, 2024: Lancaster, SC 29720

The Lancaster Bruins (Lancaster, SC) basketball were winner over the visiting Cannon Cougars (Concord, NC), 94-82 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Bruins now possess a 10-1 record. They play next when they travel to Richland Northeast for a AAAA Region 3 bout on Monday, January 6. Lancaster will play a Cavaliers team coming off a 64-48 non-league loss to J.L. Mann (Greenville, SC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 3-11.

With the loss, Cannon falls to 6-7 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Legion Collegiate Academy (Rock Hill, SC) to play the Lancers in a non-league bout on Monday, December 30. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 3-12. Legion Collegiate Academy lost 59-51 in their recent non-league bout against Piedmont (Monroe, NC)
