The Dixie Greyhounds basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting Carroll Patriots to 38 in the Greyhounds non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Greyhounds now possess a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Newton Local for a Western Ohio game on Friday, January 3.

With the loss, Carroll falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Patriots host Troy (Troy, OH) to confront the Trojans in a non-league game on Monday, December 30. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 4-3. Troy won 57-52 in their recent league game against West Carrollton (West Carrollton, OH)
