Kentucky High School Basketball - Daviess County holds off Caverna

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Daviess County Panthers basketball team scored a close 62-55 triumph over the Caverna Colonels.
The Panthers (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Hancock County (Lewisport, KY). The Hornets go into the non-league contest with a 4-2 record.
In their next game, the Colonels confront the John Hardin Bulldogs (Elizabethtown, KY) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 3. Caverna will attempt to better on its 4-5 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 1-8 record after their 68-65 non-league loss to Edmonson County (Brownsville, KY).
