In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Paintsville Tigers basketball team scored a big 76-37 win over the Charleston Math & Science Riptide.
The Tigers (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Curtis Baptist (Augusta, GA). The Crusaders come into the non-league contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, Curtis Baptist was trounced by Palmetto Christian Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC), 56-50, in a non-league battle.
The Riptide now own a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Palmetto Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Monday, December 30. Charleston Math & Science will meet a squad coming off a 56-50 non-league win over Curtis Baptist (Augusta, GA). The record now stands at 1-9.
