Next, the Spartans clash with the Markesan Hornets (Markesan, WI) in a non-league test, on Friday, January 3. Laconia will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Hornets come into the test with a 4-2 record after their 60-55 non-league win over Lourdes (Oshkosh, WI).

The Cougars (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Grant Community (Fox Lake, IL). The Bulldogs come into the non-league test with a 7-6 record. In their last test, Grant Community overcame Johnsburg (Johnsburg, IL), 72-65, in a non-league test.
