The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Litchfield Dragons (Litchfield, MN) and the visiting Concordia Academy Beacons (Roseville, MN), observed Litchfield's basketball team edge Concordia Academy by a score of 69-67.

The Dragons (3-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Glencoe-Silver Lake (Glencoe, MN). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 7-2 record. In their last challenge, Glencoe-Silver Lake edged Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton (Glyndon, MN), 84-55, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Beacons encounter the St. Croix Lutheran Crusaders (West St. Paul, MN) in a AA Section 4 challenge, on Monday, January 6. Concordia Academy will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record.
