The Corvallis Spartans basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting McMinnville Grizzlies to 55 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Spartans now have a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Woodburn for a 5A Mid-Willamette game on Friday, January 3.

With the loss, McMinnville falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Grizzlies travel to Ida B. Wells (Portland, OR) to confront the Guardians in a non-league game on Friday, January 3. The Guardians go into the game with a record of 4-4. Ida B. Wells lost 56-52 in their recent non-league game against Century (Hillsboro, OR)
