The Seven Lakes Spartans basketball team scored 80 points and limited the host Cypress Woods Wildcats to 58 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Spartans now have a 19-5 record. They play next when they host Mayde Creek for a 6A Region III District 19 game on Tuesday, December 31. Seven Lakes will confront a Rams team coming off a 73-72 non-league loss to Dickinson (Dickinson, TX). The Rams record now stands at 10-8.

With the loss, Cypress Woods falls to 9-11 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Cypress Lakes (Katy, TX) to confront the Spartans in a 6A Region II District 16 game on Friday, January 3. The Spartans go into the game with a record of 10-10. Cypress Lakes lost 43-32 in their recent non-league game against Klein (Klein, TX)
