The DeLaSalle Islanders basketball team scored 79 points and limited the host Maple Grove Crimson to 74 in the Islanders non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Islanders now possess a 7-1 record. They play next when they host Richfield for a non-league game on Friday, January 3. DeLaSalle will confront a Spartans team coming off a 83-54 non-league win over Fargo South (Fargo, ND). The Spartans record now stands at 6-3.

With the loss, Maple Grove falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Crimson travel to Centennial (Circle Pines, MN) to confront the Cougars in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 6-1.
