In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Dundee-Crown Chargers basketball team scored a good 46-34 win over the Springfield Southeast Spartans.
The Chargers (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Round Lake (Round Lake, IL). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 0-9 record. In their last contest, Round Lake dropped by MCC (Morton Grove, IL), 56-48, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Spartans battle the Lanphier Lions (Springfield, IL) in a Central State Eight contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Springfield Southeast will attempt to better on its 1-10 season record.
