The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Dundee Scotsmen (Dundee, NY) and the host Hammondsport Lakers (Hammondsport, NY), observed Dundee's basketball team overwhelm Hammondsport by a margin of 64-36.

The Scotsmen (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NY). The Bombers come into the non-league challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Bloomfield was trounced by Mynderse Academy (Seneca Falls, NY), 58-42, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Lakers battle the Jasper-Troupsburg Wildcats (Jasper, NY) in a Section 5 Steuben 2 challenge, on Monday, January 6. Hammondsport will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record.
