The Zimmerman Thunder basketball team scored 63 points and limited the visiting Eagle Ridge Academy to 56 in the Thunder non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Thunder now possess a 9-3 record. They play next when they travel to Becker for a AAA Section 5 game on Tuesday, January 7.

With the loss, Eagle Ridge Academy falls to 4-3 on the campaign. The travel to United Christian Academy (Bloomington, MN) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Thursday, January 2. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 2-4. United Christian Academy won 90-78 in their recent non-league game against Exploration (Minneapolis, MN)
