With the victory, Expression Prep Academy upgrades its record to 5-6 on the year. The Lions travel to Metcalfe County (Edmonton, KY) to face the Hornets in a non-league match on Sunday, December 29. The Hornets enter the match with a record of 3-5. Metcalfe County won 62-59 in their recent non-league match against DeSales (Louisville, KY)

The Raiders now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Carter for a District 62 match on Thursday, January 2. East Carter will face a Comets squad coming off a 82-59 non-league loss to Betsy Layne (Betsy Layne, KY). The Comets record now stands at 2-6.
