The Pearce Mustangs basketball team scored 69 points and limited the visiting East View Patriots to 43 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Mustangs now possess a 15-5 record. They play next when they travel to MacArthur for a 6A Region I District 7 game on Friday, January 3. Pearce will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 62-51 non-league loss to Rock Hill (Frisco, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-13.

With the loss, East View falls to 15-7 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Pflugerville (Pflugerville, TX) to confront the Panthers in a 5A Region III District 23 game on Tuesday, December 31. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 13-8. Pflugerville won 39-38 in their recent non-league game against McCallum (Austin, TX)
