The Highlanders (9-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Carter-Riverside (Fort Worth, TX). The Eagles come into the 4A Region I District 8 challenge with a 2-13 record. In their last challenge, Carter-Riverside dropped by Western Hills (Fort Worth, TX), 62-33, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Greyhounds battle the Tolar Rattlers (Tolar, TX) in a 3A Region I District 8 challenge, on Friday, January 3. Peaster will attempt to better on its 13-8 season record. The Rattlers come into the challenge with a 6-14 record after their 50-49 non-league win over Muenster (Muenster, TX).
