The Wayzata Trojans basketball team scored 81 points and limited the host Eastview Lightning to 40 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Trojans now have a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Shakopee for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 31. Wayzata will confront a Sabers team coming off a 88-84 league loss to Prior Lake (Prior Lake, MN). The Sabers record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Eastview falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Lightning host Apple Valley (Apple Valley, MN) to confront the Eagles in a AAAA Section 3 game on Tuesday, January 7. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 5-0.
