The Grape Creek Eagles basketball team scored 70 points and limited the host Eden Bulldogs to 39 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Eagles now have a 8-10 record. They play next when they travel to Harper for a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. Grape Creek will confront a Longhorns team coming off a 45-41 non-league loss to Hermleigh (Hermleigh, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 6-11.

With the loss, Eden falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Menard (Menard, TX) to confront the Yellowjackets in a 1A Region II District 12 game on Friday, January 3. The Yellowjackets go into the game with a record of 6-5. Menard lost 63-37 in their recent non-league game against Robert Lee (Robert Lee, TX)
