The Marshall Cardinals basketball team scored 70 points and limited the host Edgewood Crusaders to 61 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Cardinals now have a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Brodhead for a non-league game on Saturday, January 4.

With the loss, Edgewood falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Lakeside Lutheran (Lake Mills, WI) to confront the Warriors in a non-league game on Monday, December 30. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 5-1. Lakeside Lutheran lost 57-53 in their recent non-league game against Catholic Memorial (Waukesha, WI)
