Next, the Chargers encounter the Newport Harbor Sailors (Newport Beach, CA) in a non-league test, on Monday, December 30. Edison will attempt to improve on its 11-6 season record. The Sailors come into the test with a 13-4 record after their 48-43 non-league win over Tustin (Tustin, CA).

The Cavemen (2-7) will now prepare for their test against Mission Viejo (Mission Viejo, CA). The Diablos come into the non-league test with a 7-10 record. In their last test, Mission Viejo bounced Live Oak (Morgan Hill, CA), 59-46, in a non-league test.
