New Mexico High School Basketball - Espanola Valley nips Navajo Prep

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Espanola Valley Sundevils basketball team scored a close 55-51 win over the Navajo Prep Eagles.
The Sundevils (10-2) will now prepare for their contest against Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Alamogordo edged Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM), 63-55, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Kirtland Central Broncos (Kirtland, NM) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, January 8. Navajo Prep will attempt to better on its 7-3 season record.
