Florida High School Basketball - Fort Walton Beach succumbs to Lowndes

In Saturday's non-league test, the Lowndes Vikings (Valdosta, GA) basketball squad defeated the host Fort Walton Beach Vikings (Fort Walton Beach, FL), by a final score of 60-45.

Next, the Vikings clash with the Mount Vernon Mustangs (Atlanta, GA) in a non-league test, on Monday, December 30. Lowndes will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Mustangs go into the game with a 5-6 record after their 66-55 non-league loss to Chattahoochee (Alpharetta, GA).

With the loss, Fort Walton Beach falls to 6-7 on the campaign. The Vikings host South Cobb (Austell, GA) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 6-5. South Cobb won 48-45 in their recent non-league game against Lowndes (Valdosta, GA)
