The Lake Dallas Falcons basketball team scored 54 points and limited the host Fossil Ridge Panthers to 47 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Falcons now have a 9-11 record. They play next when they travel to Saginaw for a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. Lake Dallas will confront a Rough Riders team coming off a 67-54 non-league loss to Kennedale (Kennedale, TX). The Rough Riders record now stands at 6-12.

With the loss, Fossil Ridge falls to 10-11 on the campaign. The Panthers host Aledo (Aledo, TX) to confront the Bearcats in a 5A Region I District 5 game on Tuesday, December 31. The Bearcats go into the game with a record of 17-4. Aledo lost 47-45 in their recent non-league game against Joshua (Joshua, TX)
