The (9-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Environmental Charter (Pittsburgh, PA). The Hawks come into the WPIAL 1A 2 challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Environmental Charter was knocked off by St. Joseph (Natrona Heights, PA), 58-38, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Foxes encounter the North Allegheny Tigers (Wexford, PA) in a WPIAL 6A 1 challenge, on Friday, January 3. Fox Chapel will attempt to improve on its 8-2 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 44-37 non-league loss to Sewickley Academy (Sewickley, PA).
