Georgia High School Basketball - Porter-Gaud nips Franklin County

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Porter-Gaud Cyclones basketball team scored a close 61-55 win over the Franklin County Lions.

The Cyclones (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against Peninsula Catholic (Newport News, VA). The Knights come into the non-league contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, Peninsula Catholic was tipped by Summerville (Summerville, SC), 56-49, in a non-league contest.
