The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Gladstone Gladiators (Gladstone, OR) and the visiting Seaside Seagulls (Seaside, OR), observed Gladstone's basketball team edge Seaside by a score of 42-39.

The Gladiators (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Stevenson (Stevenson, WA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Stevenson was tipped by Fort Vancouver (Vancouver, WA), 86-40, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Seagulls encounter the Marist Spartans (Eugene, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 30. Seaside will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 59-52 non-league win over Pendleton (Pendleton, OR).
