The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Governor Mifflin Mustangs (Shillington, PA) and the visiting West York Area Bulldogs (York, PA), observed Governor Mifflin's basketball team overcome West York Area by a margin of 49-38.

The Mustangs (8-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Lampeter-Strasburg (Lampeter, PA). The Pioneers come into the non-league challenge with a 7-2 record.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Penn Manor Comets (Millersville, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 2. West York Area will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record. The Comets come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 67-42 non-league win over Dallastown (Dallastown, PA).
