The Panthers now possess a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Lakeview for a non-league game on Friday, January 3. Western will confront a Spartans team coming off a 70-59 non-league loss to Harper Creek (Battle Creek, MI). The Spartans record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, Hanover-Horton falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Napoleon (Napoleon, MI) to confront the Pirates in a Cascades game on Wednesday, January 8. The Pirates go into the game with a record of 4-3.
