Washington High School Basketball - Stanwood victorious over Highland

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Stanwood Spartans basketball team scored a good 65-57 triumph over the Highland Bulldogs.

The Spartans (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Arlington (Arlington, WA). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Arlington topped Lynden Christian (Lynden, WA), 92-90, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the North Saxons (Torrance, CA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 2. Highland will attempt to better on its 7-9 season record. The Saxons go into the contest with a 9-8 record after their 68-42 non-league win over Manual Arts (Los Angeles, CA).
