The Palm Desert Aztecs basketball team scored 64 points and limited the host Hillcrest Trojans to 55 in the Aztecs non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Aztecs now possess a 9-5 record. They play next when they travel to Yucaipa for a non-league game on Monday, December 30. Palm Desert will confront a Thunderbirds team coming off a 59-49 non-league win over Arrowhead Christian (Redlands, CA). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 12-3.

With the loss, Hillcrest falls to 15-3 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Arrowhead Christian (Redlands, CA) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Monday, December 30.
