Delaware High School Basketball - Howard holds off Roswell

December 28, 2024: Wilmington, DE 19801

The Howard Wildcats basketball team scored 63 points and limited the visiting Roswell Hornets to 56 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Wildcats now have a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Centennial for a non-league game on Monday, December 30. Howard will confront a Knights team coming off a 68-32 non-league win over Academy for College and Career Exploration (Baltimore, MD). The Knights record now stands at 10-4.

With the loss, Roswell falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Cherokee (Cherokee, NC) to confront the Braves in a non-league game on Monday, December 30. The Braves go into the game with a record of 4-5. Cherokee lost 20-0 in their recent non-league game against Lugoff-Elgin (Lugoff, SC)
