North Carolina High School Basketball - Howard holds off Southeast Halifax

The Howard Eagles basketball team scored 64 points and limited the host Southeast Halifax Trojans to 62 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Eagles now possess a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Wayne Preparatory Academy for a CAASC Triangle game on Wednesday, January 15.

With the loss, Southeast Halifax falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to North Edgecombe (Tarboro, NC) to confront the Warriors in a 1A Tar Roanoke game on Friday, January 3. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 4-5. North Edgecombe lost 67-33 in their recent non-league game against SouthWest Edgecombe (Pinetops, NC)
