The Trojans (15-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Pasadena Memorial (Pasadena, TX). The Mavericks come into the 6A Region III District 22 challenge with a 11-10 record. In their last challenge, Pasadena Memorial defeated Cy-Fair (Cypress, TX), 47-46, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Dayton Broncos (Dayton, TX) in a 5A Region III District 18 challenge, on Friday, January 3. Kingwood Park will attempt to improve on its 13-9 season record. The Broncos come into the challenge with a 15-7 record after their 57-51 non-league win over Kashmere (Houston, TX).
