In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Lakota East Thunderhawks basketball team scored a good 62-51 triumph over the Westerville Central Warhawks.

The Thunderhawks (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against Oak Hills (Cincinnati, OH). The Highlanders go into the Greater Miami contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Oak Hills topped Durham Academy (Durham, NC), 52-38, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Warhawks confront the Bishop Watterson Eagles (Columbus, OH) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 30. Westerville Central will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 3-0 record after their 62-43 non-league win over Bloom-Carroll (Carroll, OH).
