The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lewis County Lions (Vanceburg, KY) and the host Patrick Henry Academy Patriots (Estill, SC), observed Lewis County's basketball team overwhelm Patrick Henry Academy by a margin of 82-61.
The Lions (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Johnson County (Mountain City, TN). The Longhorns come into the non-league challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Johnson County was trounced by Hickory Grove Christian (Charlotte, NC), 77-52, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Patriots battle the Hickory Grove Christian Lions (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 30. Patrick Henry Academy will attempt to better on its 2-7 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 77-52 non-league win over Johnson County (Mountain City, TN).
