Ohio High School Basketball - Lexington fells Shelby

The Lexington Minutemen basketball team scored 73 points and limited the host Shelby Whippets to 53 in the Minutemen non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Minutemen now possess a 8-1 record. They play next when they host Ashland for a Ohio Cardinal game on Friday, January 3. Lexington will confront a Arrows team coming off a 58-42 non-league win over Dover (Dover, OH). The Arrows record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, Shelby falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Whippets host Ontario (Ontario, OH) to face the Warriors in a Mid-Ohio - Red match on Thursday, January 2. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 2-5.
