With the victory, Minnesota Valley Lutheran advances its record to 6-4 on the year. The Chargers host Maple River (Mapleton, MN) to meet the Eagles in a AA Section 2 battle on Friday, January 10. The Eagles enter the battle with a record of 8-5.

The Crusaders now own a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alden-Conger for a non-league battle on Friday, January 3. Loyola will meet a Knights squad coming off a 83-66 non-league win over Mabel-Canton (Mabel, MN). The Knights record now stands at 2-6.
