The White Longhorns basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Lubbock Westerners to 30 in the Longhorns non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Longhorns now have a 13-6 record. They play next when they travel to Molina for a 5A Region II District 13 game on Friday, January 3. White will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 55-52 non-league loss to South Garland (Garland, TX). The Jaguars record now stands at 3-8.

With the loss, Lubbock falls to 8-11 on the campaign. The Westerners travel to Coronado (Lubbock, TX) to confront the Mustangs in a 5A Region I District 3 game on Tuesday, December 31. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 4-12. Coronado lost 45-39 in their recent non-league game against Pebble Hills (El Paso, TX)
