Georgia High School Basketball - Taylor County nudges Manchester

December 28, 2024: Butler, GA 31006

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Taylor County Vikings (Butler, GA) and the visiting Manchester Blue Devils (Manchester, GA), observed Taylor County's basketball team edge Manchester by a score of 43-42.

The Vikings (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Crawford County (Roberta, GA). The Eagles come into the A D2 Region 6 challenge with a 5-7 record. In their last challenge, Crawford County was tipped by Wilkinson County (Irwinton, GA), 69-49, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Blue Devils encounter the Southwest Atlanta Christian Warriors (Atlanta, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 3. Manchester will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 3-9 record after their 53-46 non-league loss to Spencer (Columbus, GA).
