The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Sutton Mustangs (Sutton, NE) and the visiting Mead Raiders (Mead, NE), observed Sutton's basketball team overcome Mead by a margin of 64-47.

The Mustangs (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Archbishop Bergan/Fremont (Fremont, NE). The come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.

In their next game, the Raiders battle the Osceola Bulldogs (Osceola, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 30. Mead will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 57-32 non-league loss to Archbishop Bergan (Fremont, NE).
