With the victory, Sheridan advances its record to 10-5 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to Bauxite (Bauxite, AR) to meet the Miners in a non-league match on Thursday, January 2. The Miners enter the match with a record of 14-2. Bauxite won 59-43 in their recent non-league match against Mountain View (Mountain View, AR)

The Bearcats now own a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clarksville for a 4A Region 4 match on Friday, January 10.
