The Metamora Redbirds (Metamora, IL) basketball were winner over the host Rolling Meadows Mustangs (Rolling Meadows, IL), 71-61 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Redbirds now possess a 12-2 record. They play next when they travel to Bolingbrook for a non-league bout on Monday, December 30. Metamora will play a Raiders team coming off a 59-49 non-league win over Lake Forest (Lake Forest, IL). The Raiders record now stands at 12-2.

With the loss, Rolling Meadows falls to 11-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Lake Forest (Lake Forest, IL) to clash with the Scouts in a non-league outing on Monday, December 30. The Scouts enter the outing with a record of 8-4. Lake Forest lost 59-49 in their recent non-league outing against Bolingbrook (Bolingbrook, IL)
