New Jersey High School Basketball - Midland Park holds off Parsippany

The Midland Park Panthers basketball team scored 53 points and limited the visiting Parsippany Redhawks to 50 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Panthers now have a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Emerson for a Northwest Jersey - Patriot B game on Friday, January 3. Midland Park will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 72-70 non-league win over Bergen Charter (Hackensack, NJ). The Cavaliers record now stands at 5-1.

With the loss, Parsippany falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Redhawks travel to West Morris Mendham (Mendham, NJ) to confront the Minutemen in a non-league game on Saturday, January 4. The Minutemen go into the game with a record of 6-0. West Morris Mendham won 62-58 in their recent non-league game against Morris Catholic (Denville, NJ)
