The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Mount View Golden Knights (Welch, WV) and the host Richwood Lumberjacks (Richwood, WV), observed Mount View's basketball team knock off Richwood by a score of 42-24.

The Golden Knights (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Greater Beckley Christian (Prosperity, WV). The Crusaders come into the non-league challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Greater Beckley Christian dropped by Bridgeport (Bridgeport, WV), 69-49, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Lumberjacks battle the Montcalm Generals (Montcalm, WV) in a Coalfield A challenge, on Tuesday, December 31. Richwood will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record.
