The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Mountain View Wildcats (Stafford, VA) and the visiting Oakland Mills Scorpions (Columbia, MD), observed Mountain View's basketball team knock off Oakland Mills by a score of 68-48.

The Wildcats (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Brooke Point (Stafford, VA). The Black Hawks come into the Commonwealth challenge with a 6-4 record. In their last challenge, Brooke Point was knocked off by Courtland (Spotsylvania, VA), 46-42, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Scorpions encounter the Hammond Golden Bears (Columbia, MD) in a Howard County challenge, on Friday, January 3. Oakland Mills will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Golden Bears come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 67-54 league win over Long Reach (Columbia, MD).
