The Suitland Rams (Forestville, MD) basketball were winner over the host Mt. Hebron Vikings (Ellicott City, MD), 78-69 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Rams now possess a 2-3 record. They play next when they host McKinley Tech for a non-league bout on Friday, January 3. Suitland will play a Trainers team coming off a 65-44 non-league win over Digital Pioneers Academy (Washington, DC). The Trainers record now stands at 10-1.

With the loss, Mt. Hebron falls to 6-2 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Long Reach (Columbia, MD) to play the Lightning in a Howard County bout on Friday, January 3. The Lightning go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Long Reach lost 70-59 in their recent non-league bout against Joppatowne (Joppa, MD)
